A new Clutch and Fly wheel after 84000 km has to put alarm bells ringing. That's only 50k miles. it should last a lot longer than this or else he gave it dogs abuse!!!

If it did a reasonable bit of heavy towing it would explain the clutch/flywheel. Without talking to the seller I wouldn't get to alarmed by it. Know a guy in the UK who put his third clutch/flywheel into his Shogun at a shade over 100k miles (LOT of heavy towing), so its not unheard of.

Its been for sale for a while now - think it was closer to 10k when first advertised. Considering the spec (leather, warrior wheels, a-bar, wheel cover etc.) 8.5k is a very good price for it. Pick it up for 8k (assuming everything checks out) and you'd be laughing. Unusual rear spoiler that you don't see on them too often. Nice bit of test left on it too.

Long wheel pajero's have a habit of needing new clutch and flywheel. Its because they used a dual mass clutch and flywheel. Can be replaced with a solid flywheel and stops the problem. new clutch kit costs about 1200 euros. Ouch!!!
