Flights changing-Ryanair

I dunno if anybody can help me here/if its consumer issues I should be posting in (mods, feel free to move).
Got an email from Ryanair today saying that my flight from Spain-Dublin had been changed from 10pm to 2pm.

Now this shaves essentially a whole day off my holiday so Im not happy. I tried calling their reservation centre to amend my booking but was left on hold for over an hour. Went to their ticket desk in the airport and they said that they cant help, I have to call the reservation centre. Tried again.. hold for 35 minutes (during their 9-5 opening hours). Still no luck.

Tried to amend my booking online and they are trying to charge me an additional €140 to go on a later/next day flight. The girls at the ticket desk told me that I would be entitled to a change of flight free of charge because the itinerary change was more than 2 hours, so does anybody know if this is the case? Because their website doesnt seem to think,so. I dont have travel insurance yet. Just kind of anxious to know what Im entitled to because Im getting no joy from Ryanair...

    Thanks :)
