    Am a big REC fan, so got these off my girlfriend last month for Valentine's..

    Rec:
    A team of local TV reporters are following a squad of firemen on night duty. The footage is completely live and their task is to make show about on the life of these professionals who work while we are sleeping. The first job of the night is to rescue an old lady who is trapped inside her apartment but the routine rescue soon takes a sinister turn. Something evil is spreading throughout the building, out of control. Trapped inside, the firemen and the TV crew have to confront an unknown and lethal horror. Now, the only thing that matters is hiding, surviving and trying desperately to escape. They must keep on recording. No matter what happens. Until the very last moment.

    Rec 2:
    It has been just 15 minutes after authorities lost contact with the people locked in the building under quarantine. Nobody knows what happens inside. Outside is chaos SWAT unit enters the interior of the house to monitor the situation and determine what is happening. A seemingly quick and easy task. But everyone knows. Sometimes appearances can be deceiving...

    PS - they work out better at Amazon at £6.99 each if you can spend the extra £7 or thereabouts for free delivery.

    Is Rec 2 as good as 1, i loved 1 thought it was really well done. Worried a little about 2 as sometimes these sequels are just money spin offs.

    Rec 2 isn't quite as good as the first IMO.. it's very very different, but it's still good!

    I was very harsh on it when I saw it first, but rewatched it recently.. and enjoyed it a helluva lot more than I remember.

    All I'll say is that: 'Rec 2' is to 'Rec' as what 'Aliens' was to 'Alien'

    Very different films.. Rec 2 is more action-orientated than horror, but it's a pretty solid sequel (apart from a daft 20 minute segway involving a bunch of teenagers half way through)!
