    Hey guys

I was wondering if anyone has stayed in any of the travelodges in birmingham or could recommend one ? we have flights booked and are really trying to keep the costs down, its only for 3 nights, we will have our 5 year old daughter with us, were just going over to do the usual drayton manor, cadbury world , seal life etc.

    Thanks
    Collywally

    OP

As you're travelling with a young child, I'd steer clear of the Broad Street Travelodge, because of the location (Temple Bar-esque area).

Depending on the nights you're there for (especially if it's midweek), you could find pretty good deals for 3-night stays at some of the more upmarket hotel chains too: have you looked at Premier Inn or Holiday Inn?
If you're reliant on trains while you're in Brum, try to get a hotel close by New Street station, as that will take you to Tamworth (for Drayton Manor) and Bournville (for Cadbury World).

Jaysis, avoid the Broad Street one, it's a horrible place IMHO.
The best choice in Birmingham on a budget is the Premier Inn without a doubt.
