    Hi all.

I cycle in and out to work regularly on the bike, 20 minutes each way. I use a mountain bike with 26X1.90/1.95 tires (the rear one was replaced before, hence the different size. I am picking up punctures quite regularly and it's annoying. Can anybody suggest tires that would be better suited for commuting and maybe less resistant to punctures?

Get slicks. The likes of Continental Gatorskins, Specialized Armadillos, or Schwalbe Marathon would be good choices if you are concerned about punctures.

I recently put some Schwalbe Big Apple tyres on my hardtail specifically for commutting - they're excellent, very fast and apparently almost puncture-proof.
Um...it would be better to use paypal if you're ordering off that particular site given recent events.

I have Continental Travel Contact Reflex Tyres on my mtb while I'm commuting.
They are Kevlar re-inforced so I've had no problems whatsoever with punctures (they are about a year old). They are semi-slick with knobbly bits at the edges, which means I can still use them if I'm off-road on light gravel. I find them great :)
