Perfume adverts!

Following on from the What perfume do you wear' I was wondering do perfume adverts influence you? Does the celebrity endorsing them encourage you to buy them? Personally I love some of them, They are almost like mini movies now and I imagine it impacts sales hugely. I love the new Keira Knightley for Chanel and Natalie Portman for Dior, I have both and love them but was made aware of them through the adverts! Thoughts?

To be honest I have my signature scent now and anytime I buy new perfume I never wear it so I take absolutely zero notice of perfume ads. The only thing that would influence me are the scented pages in the fashion mags! (which if I like, I buy and then never use )

I don't mind the perfume ads that aren't too pretentious but I don't know if they influence me to buy. I have 2 or 3 perfumes I wear and would find deciding on a potential new one a complete chore. In the past I've bought (or been gifted) one I thought I liked but after a few wears thought it was a bit meh.

I'd be more influenced by the clothes, jewelry or hairstyles to be honest!

I've never owned any of these perfumes though, so wouldn't think the ads influenced me.:)

I wouldnt be influenced by perfume ads at all tbh, but the packaging / bottles etc have a massive influence on whether I buy something or not. That said, my signature scent is Chanel Coco Mademoiselle which has the most boring bottle ever (some say classic, I say boring!).

I find the hunt for the perfect perfume a nightmare though. I found a few I liked on friends (Britney Curious and Acgua de Gio Armani for example) and after a few wears on me realised im not mad on them so just wear em to work etc.
Love all the Lacoste aswell, especially Touch of Pink, so refreshing!
