    hi,

Trying to plan holidays, as usual its a bit of a nightmare :o

We're a couple, neither of us can take the heat too much so we'd be looking at somewhere that is 20 degrees or just below it in September (would go down as far as 15 degrees even if necessary).

Must be near a sea or water, not too fussed about nightlife, would like a bit of luxury & good food.

We were in Portugal last year at the end of May, and just about coped with the heat (it got above 30 degrees one day, I was a bit like Bill Bailey's character in Black books  )

While we liked Portugal (we were in Lagos), I'd like somewhere a little busier/with more activities. We didn't hire a car which restricted us a bit, so this time we probably would.

I would consider the USA aswell as Europe - but just want somewhere that is bright, dry - but just not hot!

    Any ideas?
