First and foremost its only rumours at this stage, but Eddie Hearn at Matchroom sports is looking to put this show together on May 7th, the same night Pacman fights Mosley.

Now i'm going to pose the question, who would be your dream International line up? Obviously we have to be realistic that there won't be any huge names but there may be some interesting match ups with some former big names and up and coming young pros.

I'll go first, heres my line up (not a chance of some of these signing up but makes for an interesting debate)

    Antonio Tarver
    Evander Holyfield
    James Toney
    David Tua
    Albert Sosnowski
    Sam Sexton
    David Price
    Mike Perez

apparently there may be up to 5 names revealed tonight for this on Prizefighter. 2 former world heavyweight champs are being rumoured aswell. It will be an attractive proposition as the winner may well receive a title shot

good thread by the way, ill have to think about my dream lineup though, the above names would be great. Mike Perez is well used to fighting a couple of times in the one night :p

Taken from an article on eastsideboxing.com:

Hearn, in speaking with The Main Event Boxing Radio Show, revealed how a big London show is taking shape for May 7th, and how big U.S names such as Hasim Rahman, Kevin Johnsonmag-glass_10x10.gif, Vinny Maddalone and others have been contacted and have expressed plenty of interest in taking part in the show.

“There are about 20 names in the mix,” Hearn told the radio show. “A lot of names have been mentioned on the various internet boxing forums, and most of the names that have been mentioned are real possibilities. Mike Tyson’s name was listed on one forum, but I can tell you he definitely will not be featuring (laughs). But Hasim Rahman, Vinny Maddalonemag-glass_10x10.gif, Kevin Johnson and others, they are very close to putting pen to paper.

“There will be five or six countries being represented in all, and I want a couple of British fighters in the show. The Cuban based in Britain, Mike Perez, along with Sam Sexton and Michael Sprott, are in the mix. Also, there will definitely be a former world heavyweight champion in the tournament. We will make an announcement this Thursday, after tonight’s (super-middleweight) Prizefighter.”

Just as long as Audley isn't one of the participants. I wonder if Evander Holyfield is the former world heavywight champion that's going to be involved?

Don't want to see Michael Sprott involved either to be honest, they love recycling their heavyweights in Britain. Rather see some international names and some British prospects ala David Price, or Tyson Fury but neither would enter i'd imagine.

Id say Holyfield will be a real possibility. A big sway will be the fact Harrison got a shot at Haye by virtue of winning a domestic prizefighter, the winner of an international competition will get pretty decent exposure.

I hope Riddick Bowe isn't the former heavyweight world champion.
