Just wondering if anyone here knows if a root canal on a front tooth would be done in one or two sessions, and what would dictate whether it takes one or two appointments to get it done? Need to get one done for cosmetic reasons and I've been putting it off, would love to know if I could get it done in one appointment!

depends on the dentist. some like to complete them in one go and some don't.

Took me 2 visits although could have easily been done in 1.first visit I was already in for 2 fillings so got the preparation done at the end of that visit, the second time I was in and out in a flash as everything was ready to go and no anaesthetic needed,if that's all you need then it should be done in one go.

Thanks for the replies, interesting to know it is done both ways. Thankfully after a visit to the endodontist I was mistaken and do not need it done for the time being.
