    Hi,

Im just planning on getting a wood pellet boiler.

Im sure alot of you have you own ideas on weather these are good or not.
Can i get your thoughts on them, and on which is the best on the market for a resonable price.

Some clues on what size u have in mind would help: is it for the front room or dog kennel or whole of house?

The quality of the pellets is a concern to most folk who have them

Houes will be 220m2 with HVAC system, and to an B1-A3 rating. Rad heating.

I think my dog would like to have a warm house too. So i will include his house into it as well. So make it 230m2!!!

then storage of the pellets in a dry environment so as the augers dont choke is the issue, as well as pellet quality.
search the C+P section of this forum: its been done before.

The bulk tank has a large footprint.

If Rex could talk he would tell you to consider spending the mula on getting the house to Passiv Haus standard.

    I wouldn't go wood pellet

Was looking up the sei energy show next week in the rds to see if there was anything new to make it worth my while going over for the day, and see that Grant have a condensing wood pellet boiler at the show, more info next week when i get back, sounds interesting, will stock up on free biros for the year if nothing else from the stands:)

A word of caution if I may, be sure you get a good plumber who understands wood pellet boilers and whatever system you are installing. You could end up with all sorts of problems if you use a cowboy. too many pumps etc.

seen very intresting wood pellet boiler at the show, self cleaning, auto igniting, modulating burner and also condensing, even duncun stewart had his head in it. Not literaly, but a nice idea...:D. You would need a big bulk hopper though i think to make it pay, to get the sei grant

would you happen to remember the name of the boiler you saw or the name of the supplier. I missed the show because I was abroad at the time but would like to add to my research on wood pellet boilers. Thanks
