Nespresso Le Cube Ran Dry

I've one of the above nespresso machines and never had issues with it, 4 years old now. I let it run dry and now it doesn't take in any water when I press the buttons. I've tried to push back the lever and it makes some hissing noise but still no water coming out of it. Any ideas>?
