In the Loungelight?

..Obviously needs a better name :pac: But has there been one done in tLL before? I've noticed a lot of forums starting to do them now, and haven't seen any in tLL (that I can remember), which surprises me, as I think there's a decent enough community/friend vibe here to keep it fun and active, and it's been well-received in other forums. I've never participated in one, just think they're a nice idea!

Has this been done here before? Is there a reason it hasn't been done here before (e.g. doesn't fit the ethos of the forum or no interest or whatever)?

And would anyone be interested in seeing it done here?

(Just to clarify for those who haven't a clue what I'm on about, "In the <name>light" threads are interview threads that have cropped up on various fora, in which a poster gets selected and other posters ask them questions, then a new one is picked after a set amount of time, rinse, repeat. Community bonding of sorts.)

Depending on what the mods think there could be a public and private version, maybe with different sorts of questions or something? Or people who want to do it privately can do it in the private forum and those who don't mind doing it publicly do it in the public part?

Absolutely anything, from what I've seen on other forums. Some silly/funny stuff, some genuine stuff, favourites, stuff like that. Could also set up some kind of theme for the questions if leaving it open was too broad.

From how I've seen it in the other forums, each person gets their own thread, and they typically change every week/bi-weekly/month, depending on interest/activity/the person.

Sorry about this guys, but the previous consensus on this was it would just turn into a popularity contest, or a chat thread, or at worst, a troll magnet.

It's absolutely no problem whatsoever to do this in the private meetup forum.

But going on the amount of requests we get to delete posts where someone has posted private info publically, or changed their mind on wanting info available, we see this generating similar requests.
