Iphone froze now cant get it to work

Hi i just got an iphone 3g on adverts it was jailbroken when i got it the phone was working fine this morning i was playing with it and as i pressed the home button to exit an app the touch screen froze.

Could not get it to work at all so i had to hold down the power and home button to reset it when i turned it back on the touch screen was still not working so i did a system restore kepet geting the error 1015 but i got around it and restored the iphone but the touch screen is still not working.

What else can i do to try get this going ?

did u get this working nightrider it might of got a new screen and one of the 3 cable was not clicked in right i,d open it up and check cable,s 1 and 2 and 3 they are easy to open 2 screws

It may also help to upgrade to the newest version of the software. Let us know what the problem was, hope you get it sorted soon.

Ok last night i upgraded to the lateist iphone fireware no good touch screen still not working.

So i opened the iphone up the touch screen has been changed before the screws from the side of the screen were missing so i reseted the 3 cables and no good still the same.

Should i just buy a new touch panel on ebay they dont cost that much i just dont want to be waisting money if it isnt going to fix it. Its just weird that it was working one minite then stoped the next

I got a new touch screen fite and its still not working and today the lcd screen is not comeing on it was on yesterday i turned of the phone and turned it on today and there is nothing on screen ?

have u done a full restore since you got the new digitizer i find it can help to reset the phone so it can pick up the new hardware
