Their not allowed to target infrastructure mate, unless something else has been hit thats had a knock on effect.

They could have launched an anti radar missile at a radar site that stopped transmitting soon after and it homed in on a TV broadcast tower instead, happened a good few times before. The UK ALARMs had a few cases of that happening in Gulf War 1 but they have improved the seekers since then.

The problem with the non targeting of infrastructure is mobile phone network infrastructure can be used to target aircraft with the same if not better accuracy than the old radar systems that might have been in place, plus mobile SAM units like the "Three fingers of death" have a 86% sucess rate in destroying medium to high flying aircraft & operate with there own advanced target tracking systems. Look at Bosnia a F16 & a "Stealth" F-117 Nighthawk both shot down by the Soviet made "Three fingers of death", the Americans were in such denial over the shooting down of the F-117 Nighthawk they claimed it had suffered a flight system malfunction:rolleyes: & that the pilot was forced to eject. Let the French inforce the no fly zone!:p
