3DS Price at game?

    Does anyone know>? And how much is reduced if you trade a previous DS console? and do you need the packaging and stylus to trade it in?

    I think the 3DS is somewhere in the region of €150 if you trade in the DSi XL, and between €195 and €215 with any of the other models. I'm not 100% certain however (I had a brief glance at the trade-in value of different consoles against the 3DS, but I only took note of the Wii trade-in value for my own sake :P)

    EDIT: This chart should give you a rough idea of the price of the 3DS with a trade-in (since the prices are in Sterling)

    The leaflet didn't make any mention of requiring the stylus/packaging though.

    For most trade-ins you need to pack it all back into the box.
    Some stores have different rules, I've never traded in since I like owning stuff until their cycle is dead for 10 years.

    It's €260 from GAME for the 3DS alone from the stickers they have on the display boxes
    For most trade-ins you need to pack it all back into the box.
    Really? Ah, crap - I think the box for my Wii went in the bin about 2 weeks after the Christmas I got it! :mad:

    €259.99, and GAME trade in prices against 3DS preorders are;
    DS Lite € 40.00
    Dsi € 80.00
    Dsi XL € 120.00
    AFAIK you don't need the box, just the machine, stylus and charger.

    If you're near a Smyths, the trade in values are:

    €120 for XL
    €85 for DSi

    Which works out as:

    Trade in XL, get 3DS for €139.99
    Trade in DSi, get 3DS for €174.99

    No need for pre order either

    HMV are having a sale of 3DS for €205(RPP €249.99)

    DSI xl trade in is €120 and €205-120 = 3ds for €85
    DSI trade in is €80 and €205-€80 = 3ds for €125

    DS-lite trade in is €40 and €205-€40= 3ds for €165

    DS trade in is €25 and €205-€25= 3ds for €185

    Depends on what HMV are selling the console for at this stage. Smyths have now reduced the 3ds as is to €250 (Or €260 with a select 3D game)

    Trade in values have decreased though so there's only €75 back for DSi, €110 back for DSi XL
