2nd set of triplets in 2yrs. Never had any before until last year. The poor cow is shook though but calves healthy and great feeders.

Never had triplets and don’t want them either, must be very hard on the cow. Was she scanned, very useful to know in advance as you can be prepared better, what is the breeding?

From a suckler point of view, twins are more than enough work, let alone a pair and a half!
Wait 'till the Dept lay eyes on this and tell you you're ''outside the national average'' and are you sure they are triplets, and how can this occur.....................................Be afraid...............Be very afraid:D

cow is holstein fr and was in calf to holstein fr. cow is 4th generation classified ex and has 2 heifers already so it was a pity it was 2 bulls and a heifer. Will chance keeping heifer as we had 2 incidents of twin heifer (with bull calf) going incalf.

she is an igniter out of a comestar lee. she has a ruud 96 heifer that is due end of this month, looks a nice heifer... good family for giving females.

Last classification was last august and we had 10 ex's and 45 vg's and 25 gp's. a few we couldnt classify because of quarters gone and 1 or 2 wouldnt classify well.

no we were lucky that we noticed cow got very thin in short space of time and there was bloody slime, so we handled her. all calves came backwards. calves are fine but cow is struggling. never like losing anything but cow is obviously the most valuable.hopefully she will make it.
