As you can see i am one of the people who has trouble actually gaining weight. I have always wanted to do something more about it but never really attempted it, so I need some helpful advice from anyone who has been in my position.

I know it sounds simple...just eat more food, right? Yes, but its never that easy and I need to make a diet plan to follow. I am 5'11 and about 10 half stone...
I want to get to 12 stone in the next two months. I dont know how possible that is but I sure am going to give it a shot. Oh and for the record, i do realize I am going to gain mostly fat, but I dont care, I could do with it. I will attend the gym on a structured program as well but bulking is my main priority now.

Heres the diet I plan to follow. I really hope someone can critique this plan to point out the mistakes I am making...

    1. Breakfast - Large bowl of Muesli with fresh yoghurt and fresh fruit. 1 slice of toast with butter and a slice of bacon.

    2. Lunch - This is generally a carvery type dinner i.e Meat, potatos and veg. washed down with cup of milk.

    3. Snack - Handful of mixed nuts with a pint of Milk.

    4. Dinner - This is usually a sandwhich (4 slices of bread), ham and cheese etc

    5. Gainer Shake - Here I am trying to get a good lot of calories in one serving. i am going to start taking this to give me about 1000 cals: http://www.fitnessireland.ie/applied-nutrition-critical-mass-4-4kg.html

    6. Before bed - generally I know I will not be hungry here at this stage so I will try to force down something like Peanut butter on cream crackers or some cheese etc

I hope the above is capable of putting some flesh on the bones and hopefully some muscle also. PLEASE feel free to let me know what you think...

    Thanks

you'll gain weight but its a stupid way of going about things. you're not even underweight, start doing weights as soon as you start this diet or you won't look good or be any healthier.

You need to eat more calories than you currently are if you want to gain weight. You're dinner is just a snack because the carvery you had for lunch has likely satiated your hunger for the rest of the day.Have another big meal in between breakfast and lunch if you can.Just drastically up your portion sizes and go for calorific density if you have trouble gaining weight.

I'm doing this because I want to gain 2 stone to move away from the skinny look...sport is also a factor.
If I gain too much then I have no fear that I will easily lose it again as I like to keep active. My biggest fear is that ill just get a fat belly and still be skinny, if that makes sense

work on putting on the first half stone and go from there (no need to stress the fat gain) - hit the weights also in a big way.
