One of, if not my my number one favorite retro game is FINALLY getting a sequel!!

Figured this was the best forum for it (but feel free to move if its not) but RCR was one of my favorite NES games of all time, so I'm really hoping it can live upto.

Anyone else a huge fan of the original? I never owned a NES (always played it in my friends house) but I've always been tempted to shell out for a NES and the game :)

It's an amazing game, pity nobody picked up on how far ahead if it's time it was. Didn't get a sequel or update on the GBA?

I think it got one of those GBA remakes where it was updated and had a few extra features but I don't think it was a true sequel. Also I still preferred the original NES graphics to the GBA ones :)

You're right it really was so far ahead of its time and contained some of the funniest jokes in early NES games.

Also I remember the nightmare password system :)

I have the GBA version, which I love. Also have the RCR-style dodgeball game on the DS and have been meaning to pick up the Kunio football DS game that got released in the states. Anyway will def be getting this when its out, wiiware would be a good fit for it I reckon!

There's two SNES entries on the series both of which are fan translated and both are meant to be amazing.

Here's the names copied and pasted if you want to check them out:

Shin Nekketsu Kouha - Kunio-tachi no Banka
    Shodai Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun

Don't forget nintendo world cup, which, despite the name, is a Kunio game. Also has some of my favourite music on the NES/GameBoy.
