3G on 3

    Just looking at an Iphone 3GS at the minute, when i go into settings there is no way to turn on 3G. Anyone know why?

    My guess is because there's no option to turn it off. If you have migrated over to Vodafone's network and only have GPRS you can switch the phone into airplane mode and then back again and it should try connect to three's network and give you 3G again.

    Different carriers either allow or prevent configuration by the end user.

    Its a new 3 connection, only bought today.

    3 allows configuration in iPad but not in iPhone. The APN is 3internet these days, and it works pretty well. You may choose their 3G network or the 2G one or set it to automatic for both -but that's it.
