Quick one. My car broke down, and I need a car for work in the morning. I'm about 3 hours away. I have a car available but I don't think I can transfer insurance until the morning. Is there anyway I can transfer insurance on a sunday?

it depends what company you're with. some allow you to do it online.

if you don't own the other car you may be able to use your "driving other cars" or "third party extension" elemnt of your policy to drive to work.

    As above, try online.

My experience is that if you fax them the details of the temp transfer it will be enough to put the cover in place, following it up with a call to the insurance co. at 9:01am
