I'm fairly interested in Nature and Natural History.
    Is this worth the subscription?

I've never subscribed to the Irish Naturalists Journal but it is for the serious naturalist and the articles are fairly heavy see this link: http://www.habitas.org.uk/inj/

No offence Macrapat but if you are just fairly interested then it's not for you. It's heavy and technical really. We are missing a decent periodical on wildlife here I'm afraid.

Thanks guys, I suppose I was being a biteen vague saying I was "fairly interested". What I should have said was I was particularly interested in Irish mammals, birds and fish including the habitats and ecosystems in which they live. Primarily from the late Pleistocene era to modern day. Personally I don't mind scientific writing if it's on a subject which I enjoy.
"Irish Stoat declared seperate species " => interesting
"Observations of mosses on Dalkey patio slabs"=> Snorefest
