Given this as a Christmas present.
Really like the phone and does all I need it to do.

Except : I can't send texts on it.

Been into the settings and have read the manual cover to cover and still can't get it sorted.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks

    Thanks for replying.
When I try sending I get a reply at top of screen saying 'Unable to send Message'
    Yes, I can receive texts.
    I'm on the 02 network

I don't know how to check for the message centre number. I can see on the sticky that it's +353868002000 but don't know how to put that in the phone settings.

If you would drop into an O2 store they would check it and put it in for ya. Haven't used brew os so can't imagine where it is. Might be in the settings in the messaging app or in general settings for phone and then text

    Captain Morgan and Evolutionqy7 :

    Got it sorted

    For anyone with a similar problem in the future this is what I did ;
    1. Open the Messages app by tapping the Messages icon.
    2. Press the Menu button and then the Settings in the Menu list.
    3. On the Settings list press Message Options.
    4. In the Message options list - press Service Center
In my case this contained my own number – which was the reason I couldn’t send texts.
I replaced this with the number in the sticky : +353868002000.

    Job done – Nice one.
