    So. You are all settled and snuggly in bed and, horror of horrors, you feel a jaggy toe nail. Do you leave your by now warmed up bed to tend to it with nail clippers incase you open a vein on your ankle in the night or wait until morning?

    Had to go with drawing blood on wife's leg, she always tells me with a scream when i have one.

    Definitely snip it. The pain can be excruciating if you roll over in your sleep and snare it. Ouch.
