Streaming itunes to plex ?

I have an apple TV (old one) in the bedroom & have a mac mini (2008 model) in the living room. Obviously streaming to the ATV is incredibly easy to do & is great. However, I love having plex on the Unit downstairs, is there any way of streaming to plex from itunes or what would be the best option to do it ?

Plex needs a server to run from i.e a host PC or Mac, if you add files to your Plex media library it will show up on your apple TV, simples

So if you wish to add content from your iTunes library just copy over to your Plex library.
