Would you want to know that death was imminent, possibly spending your last few minutes screaming in terror, but having time to say your goodbyes; or would you rather be completely oblivious to what was going to happen, and go quickly without the wait?

Not quite sure why I've just thought of that... yeah

Depends on how we were all going to die. If it was going to be slow and full of torture, yes I would like to know so I could just do the job myself and of course say bye to everyone. Also, could we stretch it to maybe an hour so I could find a half reasonable looking guy and do the business one last time?

But then your discounting the possibility certainty of Bruce Willis puting his vest on and single handedly saving the world. Hollywood would never lie to us, would they?

The world is going to end next year!

    Not in 15 mins

and if it was going to end in fifteen minutes, I would keep on watching the Wales vs France game in Paris , as it live on television and it would be interesting to see if France disappeared before Ireland -if a meteorite struck that is, and also the panic in the stadium.

As for ringing people and telling them that I love them.
:) Everyone knows already i love them, not sure if ringing them would be of any use as telling them i love them is only going to comfort them for 15 minutes, and we will all be dead.

    fifteen minutes.....what could you do...

I would make a cup of tea...I love tea

It's always been a life long dream of mine to count from 1 to 901. I reckon the knowledge that I only had 15 mins left to live, might just be the impetus I need to do it.

    I can just see myself

One.. one thousand.. Two.. one thousand.. Three.. one thousand...... all the way up to........ Hang on....... Bollox

if the world was going to end what biscuit would you have with yer tea

a jaffa cake or a Jammy dodger?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,884 ✭✭✭Eve_Dublin

I'd walk out of my house, walk up to one of those hunky Spanish men I see wandering around everyday (here in Madrid) and propose we do very naughty things for the next 15 minutes.

Realistically though, I'd probably start keening and wailing like one of those hysterical Irish Catholic women back in Famine Ireland.

As beautiful as that is I had to say no.

I honestly would just collapse from the fear of what "the end" is.

But it was nice to read a good heart-warming response on AH for once. :)
