There's a group of us running this, just wondered were there many more from here and if so does anyone have a good location for post race celebrations?

Looking forward to this as well and hopefully the weather will be better than last year...somewhere like reardons?....be interesting to see where a local might suggest?

The Hi B could be a bit of a laugh. "Different".

Dead central; opposite GPO on Oliver Plunket St

Think you can do better than Reardens, someone compared it once to Copper Face Jacks in Dublin :) Hi-B is an interesting suggestion, the owner can be on the grumpy side but he's not there that much any more.

Places that come to mind are Sin E, Bodega (where I went after last year's monsoon run, has the advantage of having food), Tom Barry's, Franciscan Well (brew pub), Mutton Lane, Crane Lane, Roundy, Raven.

Of course these are just pubs I like so buyer beware, always read the small print, prices can go down as well as up etc etc etc ;)

Last year we started in the place opposite Reardens and ended up in Reardens.

^ We did wander across the road for a bit though, but clearly that level of exercise was too much for us.

Was it big or small? :P

Yep, I think we tried to get into reardens but it wasn't open yet.

Anyway MrSlow. These threads are usually about 4-5 pages of people discussing the race, the course, their training etc before it descends into people talking about the post-race beers. Please stick to the forum etiquette :pac:

It looks like you are trying to put the cart before the horse on this one.

It really depends on where people are staying is how we ended up in that pub last year if i remember right.

Thankfully i was gone before it got messy on the dancefloor. ;)

I think it could fairly be described as very messy well before anyone hit the dancefloor.
