Didnt care for this episode at all. Its only the 2nd one I didnt like. Was completely out there. Can def see it getting cancelled with more episodes like this. As for Olivias protrayal of Bell it was just cringe worthy.

Can a mod please change the title.

I voted mediocre and thought it was meh, cringey Olivia as Bell....it TANKED in the ratings, a 1.3. Fringe is in serious trouble now!

I LOATHE Paula Malcomson....she ruined Caprica and ruined this ep, nothing happened in this ep. at all, nothing....pure polly filler.

Is having Anna Torv do a really bad impression of Leonard Nimoy supposed to get the ratings up? The Olivia/William scenes were really cringe worthy as mentioned already. It's like a cheap way of getting his character back on the show without getting Nimoy himself! Nimoy should get onto the actor's union over there :D

I actually liked the episode besides those scenes however.

Found it very hard to listen to Olivia all through that.
Nothing else really moved the story along.

I actually thought Torv did a good impersonation of Nimoy. But there's a reason why actors playing real people are generally discouraged from doing impersonations: it's just not pleasant to watch. Especially when it's a women pretending to be a man.

This whole plot line was just a really terrible idea. Very poor episode.

Not a good idea, didn't really work. I think Torv is doing her best with what she has to work with which isn't much!

Poor story line, not much happened, didn't really advance anything only to all but promise more impersonations from Torv intermingled with Peter striking a bell every 20 seconds so we can speak to Olivia.

TBF torv can only work with what shes given, the impression didnt really bother me, its a bit cheap but i dont really give a toss, though it says a lot of olivias fashion sense that she wears tight bras :D,

thought it was only an ok episode, i was thinking that bell would take yerones body, but it wasnt to be, what is with yerone from caprica, is she a religious nut of what, religeon just seems to follow her around, as do bombs and trains:D

interesting end to the episode with bell staring to loose the connection with olivia, i hope bell wont be reentering fringe for good, he was an interesting caracter but i think it would be to much to have him around, maybe give him enough time to help walter grow back his brain,

Someone remind me of what happened to AlterBell on the other side - is he dead as well?

He was the complete opposite of Cylone-Mommy in this episode, his magnetic filed among other things was on the verge of collapse and his molecules were barely holding together. He used the particle accelerator that he and Walter modified to get back to presumably our universe to release the energy contained in his body to give sufficient power to make the transition.

The olivia as bell thing is interesting if it wasn't for the annoying voice Torv is doing. i get they kind of have to distinguish between the two but it is really irritating.

It was also good to see this universe's version of Lincoln, perhaps he will join the Fringe team on this side as well.

Am I the only one who thinks he is the same Lincoln we already met and he has infiltrated our universe's Fringe team? The way the camera lingered on him at the end seemed like foreshadowing.

The fan reaction to her wasn't very positive so they promptly forgot about her.

really? wasn't more about a change of emphasis of plot, where they were trying to shoe horn in some religious debate, what ever happened to "the pattern", not so much talk of that anymore, although its still going on.

I think you're bang on the money about that! :) Good spot!

I can't understand your posts. Trying using grammar and punctuation. It helps!

Very interesting idea but I didn't really get that vibe. I think they might have just brought him to show what his alter version was like, but who knows.

IIRC AlterBell was killed in a car crash many years ago, not having done anything spectacular with his life (no Massive Dynamic), or never having known Walternate.

leave it to you to bring up the big C as usual, everyone here knows the show is on the bubble, no need to remind us, :(

i doubth lincoln has been sent over, its just he was never given the opportunity to be in fringe division over here, hes the same guy more or less, just fringe is relatively new over here, and most of there work is done through massive dynamics rather than the FBI, (which i find kinda weird, but i find it make sense also)

yeah i remember bell saying that hes alternate was killed in a car crash at a young age,

I thought there would be a negative reaction to this, though not to extent that some people have posted. Peter sure was taking the huffs at the start, wasn't he?

Thought it was more effective than last week's ep which was pretty dull. Great to see Lee, and of course Gene, so some humour, too. We've been lacking fun Walter, as of late. Thought Torv did a pretty good job given her new role, even if you put aside the voice, and I think they changed Olivia's appearance a little, she seemed to capture Bell's mannerisms quite well. Not overused, either. The story itself was a little flat for me, though. Does it always have to be a bomb? I didn't mind the souls and that type of thing, but something about the rest didn't draw me in completely. That there wasn't much of a resolution to the lady's story - not in the A+B = C kind of way, but it could have been more of a Fringe/iffy ending or a bit ambiguous, rather than muddled which is kind of what we ended up with.

Well he's not getting any sex any more.

I wonder if Bellie would be into that kinda thing?

Yes I wondered that myself but then thought it was probably just the writers thought it was time to introduce us to the Lincoln from our universe, also nice way of using a popular actor a bit more than just in the Alt-Universe episodes.
I thought Anna Torv did a good job of impersonating Bell but hope that doesn't go on for too much longer. I thought maybe that's why your one from Caprica had been introduced, so he could take over her body but thankfully that didn't happen as I don't think she is a good actress (she was fairly poor in Caprica IMO). Other than that I thought it was good enough episode but not one of the strongest.
