how to paint off background on pictures on my laptop

    i lads im just wondering does anyone know how i can paint the backgrounds in some pictures or even change the background scenery.it just i do alot of fishing anf=d when i take a picture with me holding a fish the back ground shows off where i caught the fish etc.id rather keep al the marks to myself,than have them over loaded with people:D

    An easy & free solution would be to download GIMP (google it). It's an open source (won't cost you a cent) graphics tool. You could use it to blur the background of your photos as opposed to painting over them and ruining the photo completely.

    This is not really a laptop question though, so I expect mods are going to move this thread.

    wasnt really sure where to put it so i put laptop in the heading as you can see

    Hi Sanbrafyffe,

    Lots of programs to do it, GIMP is good, but if you're not really sure what you are doing or how to,

    THIS PROGRAM
    does it in the easiest possible way. I'm not sure if it's freeware for home use anymore, which it was, but it appeared recently on GAOTD, implying it may be shareware..
