New Moisturiser

After clearing out my bathroom and cosmetics bags of stuff I don't use/need/like (1 and a half bin bags of products ) I now need a new moisturiser! Any recommendations are welcome.

I have fairly normal skin, don't tend to get any breakouts unless I eat purely junk food or am uber-stressed. I used to use Clarins's Multi-Active Day Cream, and it was fine but maybe a little heavy for me. I'm 23, and perhaps Clarins is made for slightly older skin (or perhaps I just have that impression because my mum uses it)? Which may explain why I feel it was too dense for me.

I'm not adverse to spending a bit of money on a staple product like this, but if anyone knows of decent cheap brands I'd be very grateful too :)

*I did try searching this forum for recommendations, but couldn't find what I was after; if this topic has already been covered and I missed it in my search, please point me in the right direction!

I love Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser lotion, and it also comes in a gel. I find it great, your skin really "drinks" it up!

I get what you mean about Clarins, some of their stuff is very heavy. In fact my mam received an anti-aging gift basket from Clarins for her 51st birthday and found the products far too heavy for her!

Oilatum Natural Repair Face Cream is my favorite, costs 11 euro. I really don't think I'll find a better moisturiser. It's lacking in SPF though, so I'll be switching to Eight Hour Cream With SPF 50 for summer because I think it's on par with the Oilatum.

I did get a Clinique moisturiser with Glamour last month and loved the texture; might give that a go then!
