Has anybody seen this satchel?

Hi all, I'm trying to track down one of these satchels and was wondering if anyone's seen it? It's from Penneys, I saw it this morning on tv and I'm slightly obsessed. I looked in O'Connell St and no joy.

I haven't seen it, but oh my, it is gorgeous. I'd love to have it too! I was in Penneys in Swords on Wednesday and it definitely wasn't there.

OMG, its amazing. Something similar is on ebay but its about 50 euro (italian leather and all that).

What kind of time can we expect the stuff on tv to be in the shops? Keep me posted if anyone sees it!

You know that video with the various fluffy animals who sing "Nom nom nom" (and so on)? Well that started to play in my head when I saw this bag. It's top of my spend list. A good four places above my bus pass and food.

She said she hasn't seen it on the trend report but she's gonna check it again for me.

Ya think Primark would have it?! I mean, are the UK ahead with trends and stuff? It's just when I worked in River Island, the UK had stock before we did. And I'm going to Belfast so maybe I'd be able to pick it up there!

Yeah I think Primark usually get stock first but some stock isn't available at all in Primark that is in Penneys and vice versa.

Sorry but I thought that Pennys was Primark ? BTW is there any reason why every other county other then Dublin gets crap stock in like down in Limerick the mens section is such a disgrace, while I've seen online that in Primark that some amazingly good quality stuff comes in?

Yeah it is. Penneys is operated by Primark but they often don't carry the same stock. I have cardigans from Primark that we never had in Penneys.

Em...head office and the stock depot are in Dublin...might have something to do with that but I have no idea!
Some Dublin branches are terrible though!

I dunno, I saw it on tv and it looked really good! Normally I can tell if something looks plasticky when I see it on tv

I saw it in a magazine a month or two ago and I've been keeping an eye out for it ever since. No luck yet.

I do hate Penney's bags though, and after having 4 of them break so far this year I decided not to buy them anymore. But if I see this one I'll have to buy it, I'll just make sure to never put anything heavier than a pack of tissues in it

Keep trying ebay. I searched "primark satchel" and came up with loads, this being among them :

Sorry to disappoint guys but I saw these in London recently and they're hideous in real life. Really plasticy and cheap looking. Would definitely save for a better quality one. They looked like the kind of bag a little girl would buy to play at being grown up. The pics do them a lot of justice.

These were in Primark in NI months ago. Doubt they still have them now.

There is a similar satchel in River Island.
It's a little darker in colour and obviously the price is greater. .
But it is a lot better quality.

For some reason, the RI website isint working for me, so I can't link you the bag. . but if you pop onto the website, you'll see satchels there.
