New album coming out in May. Check out a full live performance here. If it's half as good as Hospice, it will be one of the albums of the year.

Look forward to having a listen. Hospice is a beautiful album, and I like their first too.

Their Dublin gig last May was one of the worst I've been too though. So distorted, could barely make out the songs amidst the feedback :( Not sure if that was just the venue or the way they play live. Still, albums prove they make spectacularly lush rock music.

Edit: Listening to the live performance, they actually put on a decent show there.

I loved 'Bear' on Hospice but the rest of the album doesn't grab me in any way.

I think I saw them at the Picnic but I can't remember so I'm guessing they weren't anything special!

Ha, prob my least favourite song on that album :p

Look forward to listening to this. I saw them twice in Academy and they weren't great either time, but as Johnny said I think it was more to do with the sound setup in the venue.

I was at the gig in Academy 2. Was awful, don't think it was down to the band though, terrible venue.

Video of the whole concert up now, on previous link. Sounds like it will be another special album.

I've seen a good few bands in the Academy 2 - some good, some great - and they all sounded absolutely terrible. I doubt its a coincidence. It seems to be the venue. It's like the bands are playing and singing into a bucket. Low ceilings, walls and support pillars everywhere. Awful. I wouldn't go to another gig there unless Kurt Cobain was playing a solo acoustic show or something, just for me.

Great place for a down n dirty punk rock gig or something like that but anything with any reasonable soundscapes going on seems to be doomed.

It seems a lot of decent bands from overseas end up playing there, maybe because management and the band aren't familiar with the venue.

    Very impressive!
Felt it would take a bit of work to top Hospice, but this seems a solid enough effort, sounding a little more "light hearted" (if they could sound such a way). Great to have it available online!

Fantastic album, especially 'No Widows' - absolutely gorgeous track

I've streamed the album about 6 times today alone... I really like it!

It was never going to be as good as Hospice, which is easily one of my favourite albums of the last few years. Hospice was so wonderful in that it was a concept album as well, so there was much more continuity about it as an album... This one isn't pieced together quite as nicely.

There's quite a few nice tracks on it! Hounds features that beautiful high voice of Silberman's:

Also, I was at the gig in the Academy last May, and really enjoyed it. I honestly thought they were astonishingly good, but yeah... the fact that I had already fallen in love with them probably had me biased from the off.

Rolled Together is a great track, can't get enough of that one at the moment.

had about four or five listens to the album now and it's getting better each time. i love hospice but i'm glad they haven't gone and recorded hospice part 2 - don't know if i could handle that much misery every time i wanted to listen to them.

Academy 2 is an absolutely dreadful venue alright. they didn't bother altering it after it's stint as a nightclub dancefloor in spirit and it really isn't fit for purpose now.
