Get a breathable membrane, any good Builders suppliers will stock different brands. Just tell them what you want it for.
Old style 'Felts' are not really used anymore.

Deff the best - but price around, you should be able to get much better than €150 a roll

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.
The house is very old with a straight pitched roof, no felt and slated with blue bangor slates. I plan to replace the whole roof with same pitched structure and re-slate with a natural slate.

I just didnt want to cut any corners on the materials.:D

My roofer insisted on Solitex claiming it was better than Tyvek.... just an alternative opinion for you.

    Fergus.

One more into the pot.. SIGA also do a very good membrane, similar to Solitex.
