Net's are good and bad. The one you are considering looks fine all be it expensive. However in my opinion they work fine to actually hit balls and keep your swing in tune however you never get to see ball flight or path. So you can hit hundreds of balls but the result will never be know apart from the fact you connected with the ball well. You wont get to see a draw flight or fade flight based on a particular set up you are working on. Distance will be another issue that may bother you as you will never know how far you are hitting it. I know these to be true as these are the problems I have with my net. As above they are fine for working on consistent contact and working on swing plane etc but lack the end result of seeing the shot.

Try here for a cheaper alternative:

€380 is pretty expensive for a net.
You could pick up a good net for around the €100 range.
Ive one at home that can be easily folded away so it isnt too much hassle to put up and
to take down. Would reccomend this sort of one beacuse if you get one that you have to leave outside for the most part the net will wear away much faster.

net is a waste of money, like what Loft said above - you have no idea of ball flight. Easy put holes in them too.

The more holes there are in a net the better. Less chance of hitting your ball staight through. :D

    thanks lads.

I agree that nets have their limitations but I would mostly be it to practice ball striking, solid contact, etc. I have looked at a lot of nets in the €100 range but they all seem to be slightly unreliable, not suitable for use indoors, easily ripped, and so on. The golfnetsonline site seems good but they mostly have outdoor nets - I'm really looking for one that can be used both indoors and outdoors.

The net return has 11 reviews on Amazon, all of which are 5 stars. I know these kind of reviews are not 100% reliable but all other reviews of similar products seem to give very low scores.
