Hi, has anyone reused Miller twist tops bottles? I capped one(with water) and it seems leaktight but I'm brewing my first batch and dont want to take any chances?? The top of the glass looks to be kind of threaded.....

    Thanks
    L

Really would not chance it, the cap could come off and hit you in the face. Some bud bottles or 500ml brown bottles, both non twist is really what you want.

Downside is they're full of bud. Still, can't be any worse than Miller.

OP. Don't recap twist top bottles.

At least the bud are brown bottles, the miller is clear which allows light in which can effect the beer taste.

I've broken the necks of many disposable (as opposed to re-usable) bottles ala bud, coors etc, so don't bother any more. I have a 2 handle capper though, so you if you have a bench capper you'll probably be OK.
Besides, 330 ml bottles suck, 500s are the way to go - much less cleaning, filling and capping required.
