Un-official Skangermobiles

On seeing the new VW Passat skangered up yesterday it seems the Passat is the un-official choice of skobes and skangers. The civics/corolla's once were up at the top now seem towards the bottom of the list of skangermobiles.

I really do hope seeing the new passat was a once off - cos its a lot lot nicer than the previous Passat

Oh no, the latest trend is T-diddly-I Passats, Corollas and Avensis'. Steer clear when you see the chunky bold number plate font, the chrome trim, the bad HIDs and the 'VW' or 'Toyota' sticker occupying the entire rear windscreen :pac:

99 or 00 Passats are low level scobes chariots of choice.

p.s. Never a 1.6 petrol as they would pull the skin off a rice pudding.

Or as I saw on a brand new Passat utterly destroyed by the Silver 'Passat' on rear windscreen

They nearly all tend to be in gloss red too.

Though there are a good few "felt" spec Audi RS4 TDis about the place too, seem to be popular with the more senior type skangers.

Is it just a Limerick thing then?

You only get one of those on promotion within the ranks :D

For some reason Ive been taking photos of these. Its like bird watching for car fans.

A fusion of speed and... fusion. ..?

On the below, the owner was on his way to Halfords.. Dont miss:
    - The "Nascar" rear lower bumper aero-diffuser.
    - Bonnet was rattle can black too.
    - The rear spoiler to keep the Rear wheels down
    - The "shopping list" on the side. OMG genuine Pipercross parts!
    - The gigantic aerial that he forgot to mod

It's quite popular here alright - have you seen the B5 passat with pink wheel trims and a massive "BITCH" sunstrip. Classy bird I'd say.
Was parked near Henry Street station one day and there was a steady stream of skangered (see dougies post, spot on) new-at-the-time "Ventis's" dropping fellas to sign on at the station - I'm willing to bet the same guys are now rolling in brand new Passats this year.

Funnily enough, I saw a line of skangered out A4's, Passats and Corollas abandoned outside the dole office yesterday. Like, literally abandoned in a co-ordinated line blocking the road. Madness.

Come for a spin down to Limerick, observe for 10 mins, and then I defy you tell me there are no skangered out Avensii :pac:

We could do a whole thread of Limerick skangermobiles - it's the only place in the world I've seen a blacked out Avensis with chromed arches. Must go out and get some Barryboys style pics...
