    Hi all,

My landlord has had a plumber out at least 8!! times now over this thing. Please see the pictures attached to this post. The timer simply does not heat the water overnight, and only works "boosting" which gives barely enough hot water for a shower.
The plumber checked the element rods I think he said for electricity and they were working, he replaced the clock (as previous clock which was same model wasnt turning apparently!) and it worked for a couple of days, but the last 2 days there's no hot water.
The clock seems to be turning this time correctly, as I woke up at around 5 this morning, checked on it and the orange bath LED (top) was lit, the time set also seems to be near enough the current time.
I can boost, but its useless as even boost for 60 mins gives only enough for a quick shower, boosting causes the bottom orange LED sink to light up as in the picture. The boost does heat though.
The plumber left about 5 days ago, and it did work ok for at least 2 of those days, I'm really at a loss and getting very pissed off with it at this stage, does anyone here have any suggestions of what could be the issue, if its the clock is crap or whatever say so so at least I can give that to the landlord as a suggestion, or any suggestions that could be given to this plumber would be appreciated as even I'm getting the blame at this stage (for the record, ive never touched to clock and only have to boost to get hot water in the first place!)

    Cheers folks

    Nick

From my experience with Grasslin, they are junk and are best suited to the bin. I normally replace with Sangamo but they are a good bit dearer but less hassle.
