He was speaking on the Golf Channel's coverage of the Tavistock Cup after walking around with Tiger.

He says that Tiger hasn't reached his best yet and will be better than he was in 2000. He says there is nobody that can stop him when he is at his best and that Tiger will win a dozen more majors.

Surely 12 more majors is a bit much. I would be surprised if Tiger even broke the record of Jack.

I'd expect him to win a few more but not sure how many. Maybe another 4 or 5

Feherty was drolling over him at times.

Feherty was saying he is going to win the masters also.

Tiger will struggle on a tight course as there was no rough in the tavistock cup. Like playing in Deer Park.

Feherty's just a real-life sized troll, there's one on most sports commentary panels

With the likes of Kuckar, Kaymer, Mahan, Watney, Bubba, Westwood, Gmac and Dustin as well as the list of other great players in contention each week, I can't see Woods winning 4 or 5. He has a chance of course, and has the ability, but I think like Padraig he throws a few shots here and there.
He seems to have a couple of great rounds and then perhaps a loose round.
When he was number 1, he was out on his own, miles ahead of the rest. He's been caught now and those ahead of him are only getting better. They are younger and more consistant.
I'm not convinced he will be able to beat them all over 4 days.

    Yours etc,
    GSH.

he is likely to retire from the game if he goes 5-yrs without a major win imo

I think he will win more but there's no doubt he does'nt instill the same fear factor in the other (especially younger) players.....if they are coming down the straight on a Sunday all they have to do is say the words 'Jamie Grubbs' to themselves and any fear will disappear.:P

Think he was a bit excited after walking 18 holes with him. If he gets on a roll and wins a couple of majors you never know.

Ah hes definitely going to win a heap more if he wants. People saying that they have caught up with him is pretty much bull. He obviously has came back to the pack. He has not played to his potential in years, mainly due to mental things like marriage break up,his dad dieing and general having a good time like he is a billionaire . If you are saying that he can't you obviously have not seen enough of him playing when he was on form. What Feherty said is not really out their if you ask me, he just said that the best golfer that ever lived is going to win a heap more tournaments. Probably grab a couple this year if you ask me :D

Fehertys opinion is no more valid than any bluffer watching tv. Tiger didn't even win last weeks event and is down to 5th or so in the rankings so the evidence doesn't support the claim that he is getting better than ever. He can still win loads but I would expect he will never gain as many ranking points as before when he was miles in front. The likes of Els should have made a much sterner challenge back then, I would guess the younger players coming through will make a stronger challenge. I won't be surprised though if Woods does win the Masters, of those in the top 5 on the rankings I expect Woods will be highest on the leaderboard in Augusta. He is still young enough to win lots more majors but each one will likely get tougher as he gets closer to Jacks 18.
