    Hi all,

This may be a stupid question but I have a skoda fabia and I need to tow a ford fiesta. I don't have a tow bar but there seems to be a loop under the bumper. Could I wrap a rope around this and tow the car that way?

Depending on the year of the fiesta, assuming 96-02 type, they have a metal ring stored with the jack and wheelbrace behind the carpet in the boot, just beside the right hand rear light. A small cap pops out of the bumper and the ring screws in.
Should be the same story for the fabia, but the towing ring will be stored with the jack under the spare wheel.

Remember both vehicles need to be insured and make sure the steering lock doesn't come on on the car that is being towed!
