Route: Dublin City Centre to Maynooth?

    Hello all,

    Thinking of taking a spin out to Maynooth. Can anyone recommend a route?

    I'm thinking this might be ok? Are there any better alternatives or any pitfalls I should avoid?

    Strawberry beds and up around the back of Leixlip?
    Instead of turning into Lucan at the bridge, go straight on, up the hill, and over Confey, and along the back of Intel into Maynooth via the old Leixlip road.

    you could go through clonee and dunboyne, its a little longer tho.
