hummm... new laptop time im coming from a 5yr old insprion 6000 so you can feel my pain as i type on it now. since im hoping to get as long as i can out of it for the money im spending im going for an i5 with a nice graphics card. 15.6 in screen (17's i find too big) wanna keep the budget below 700 euro.
    found these two below

    Toshiba Satellite L650-1NC - Core i5 480M / 2.66 i5-480 ati 5650

    Lenovo Z560 i5-480 nvidia 310m

    What something for reasonable gaming.
both come in at around the same price 650 with the lenovo possible a tad cheaper at 635 i think.

having looked at them both im swaying towards the toshiba for the ati 5650
even though you get a bigger harddrive with the lenovo (720gig) and a blue ray player. have a 1TB external hard drive and dont think i have a great need for bluray( future proof maybe? games these days running off bluray? although with steam is this needed?)

in an ideal world i probably would have gone for a this Dell 15R which kinda fit the bill in everyway but alas now that i have the money they're sold out (typical!)

the thing with the toshiba is 2usb ports..... and the lenovo looks much better i think... pretty much i think its the ati 5650 that is selling it to me for gaming. also if you notice the Toshiba is netherlands localised...with a funny plug (they give you an adapter) so a little wary about it, i dont speak dutch if it comes set up language wise or has a funny keyboard
    what do people reckon ?
difference in spec/value for money and possiblilty of funny keyboards?
