Anybody ever use this stuff and did it work? I've a small leak from the gaitor on the passenger side on the steering rack of my mkiv Golf.

    Thanks

Always iffy stroking a repair on components that have safety implications TBH. It could cause other problems.

    Total waste of money IMHO

Shop around and get a 2nd hand rack

    Hello,

I can say that it's an awesome product. I know this because I work in a motor factor & speak from experience of selling 20+ bottles of this stuff a month.

Another product that works and maybe a cheaper alternative is Prestone Power steering fluid + Stop leak.

Both are American so you know they're good!!

I doubt it works. Most people buy it because paper won't refuse ink.

If your power steering is leaking at a seal it is because the seal is worn or the garter spring in the seal has gone weak. No amount of magic fluid is going to fix either.
