Insurance Question

I have been insured on my motorbike for 10 months now and have just bought a new bike. The current insurers wont cover me on the new bike unless I have 1 year or more NCB. I am selling my old bike hopefully in the next week so should I let the insurance run on or should I swap that cover onto a different bike? I have another bike (a 125cc) would it be better to swap it over to this bike and just let the next 2 months pass by without using it?

Do a permanent transfer to the 125 you own. Then at renewal put the new bike on cover.
