You are seeking employment in an area that is heavily subscribed as it is. A lot of girls do these 'beauty' courses and frankly the end product (subjective beauty) is limited and generally worthless in terms of adding productivity or added value to the economy at large. Since this is a niche activity, the remuneration is pitiful. The armies of beauticians we trained up during the Celtic Tiger must surely be kicking themselves now.
