Restrictions may have been placed on Safari. Check the following:
    • Select Settings.
    • Select General.
    • Choose Restrictions.
    • Make sure Safari is set to On.

An app can become a folder by dropping another app onto it. Say you have a number of photo/camera apps, you drag one on top of another and it becomes a folder where both are visible.

swipe to the left of the main screen and type in safari. this will search the iPad for Safari so at least you can see if its still installed.

jaysus thats very strange.... have you gone thru every page on the ipad? he may have dragged safari to a new page at the very end on its own?

Ah, two year olds... they love their ipads. I just discovered a chocolate biscuit crammed into the speaker of mine.
