Cheap Ink

Not sure if this has come up before but I just discovered it so thought I'd share.

On fleabay you can buy ink refill kits for less than a tenner. My HP ink costs over €40 for two cartridges (B&w and colour) and the last time out I logged how many pages the black printed before running out- a pathetic 127.

So I bought an ink refill kit from fleabay here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HP-301-BLACK-COLOUR-INK-CARTRIDGE-REFILL-KIT-TOOL-XL-/330505430821?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_Printing_PrinterInkCatridges_JN&hash=item4cf3a8a725#ht_992wt_932

It comes with syringes and 100ml of ink- nearly 8 times more what HP were giving for €40. The first 15 pages I printed had dark greyish ink but after that it has been printing perfect black. I only re-filled 5ml so I have at least 19 more refills to go.

Bargains like this really reveal just how much we are being shafted on ink- get smart folks and do it yourself- it takes 5 minutes, is easy and fool proof and will save you an absolute fortune from day one.

I have never bought printer ink from eBay, But I do remember my friend got printer cartridges from eBay before and they were faulty and the quality of them were not very good. I get my printer cartridges from Printer Ink Cartridges.ie who are a genuine supplier of printer ink cartridges. I use a Canon Pixma MP160 and the price for the cartridges were much cheaper than what I was paying before.
