Guys due to an accident i had i have to change my car. I'm left disabled with my legs but still have some use. Car im after will have to be automatic, diesel preferred but not a must. Has to be a 6 or 7 seater, have 3 kids and wife and need extra room for an extra body the odd time+ wheelchair buggy and bits and bobs.

Was looking at a Grand voyager today but am not sure what to go for, all suggestions welcome and i've no great knowledge about cars, if it makes a difference i have a 02 picasso i could trade in as well, im going to have to sell it one way or another.

Thanks folks feel crap about been left disabled but its another step on a long road.

Sorry to hear that - glad to hear you will retain some independence though and your positivity by the sounds of it. Like you say it'll be a long road but the start of any journey is always the hardest bit.

Grand Voyager had, I think, an atrocious NCAP rating (was it 1 star or 0?). For that reason alone I'd avoid them. How about Galaxy / Alhambra / Sharan? Or C4 Picasso / C8 (or Peugeot 807)? Might make it easier to move your current Picasso on if you were buying from a Citroen / Peugeot dealer.

Thanks for that Dilbert but really looking for some ideas of whats out there, good points on said cars and bad points. I would have thought a voyager was a good car, shows you what i know, and i mean that in a good way, i really know nothing. I looked a some Galaxys and they seemed to be very high priced, is there a reason for this or do they just hold there value well.

Thanks any help advice or links is very much appreciated, have a couple of weeks to find something and will pay someone to give it a good going over for me. Thanks.
