    Ask you manager.

    This should work:

"Oi cnut! Any extra hours going?"

I was working a part time job a while back, and though I'd chance my arm at scoring the full timer instead. Simply talked it over with the boss. Unfortunatel I didn't get the full time that I was looking for, but since I showed interest, I was then thrown any over-time that was available from that point on. Which suited me grand.

    Being a lick-arse pays off sometimes ;)

EDIT: Oh, and I'd reckon this is the one time that blasting him with piss won't actually help.

this would be useful but I could still do with working at least 40 hours in a week

Do your sexy strut over to him and tickle his thigh while staring into his eyes. Then club him over the head and change the roster.

Hopefully the blow to the head will make him forget you were ever part-time.

Do it in the most difficult and convoluted way possible. Tell boss it harder than it looks

How would shifting the full timer help in getting her job? Surely ye should have scored the manager instead!!

All part of the masterplan. You bring her home, and all of a sudden she's never seen again... The next day there's a full time position available in work.

Well, you should really make it clear you'll do what you can. Rather than just want fulltime, tell them you'll try to cover any other shifts (even ask your co-workers if they need things covered). The idea is that while you might not get your 40 hours a week, the fact you're willing and asking to work more and even in unusual cricumstances (like being called 40 minutes because Bob didn't come in) shows you actually want to work and it's not just "I want more money, give me hours". Even if it's a lie and you hate your job, if you try to show some sort of interest in working more and helping out outside your particular working hours, it will hopefully pay off.
