Will be putting down my onion sets this week and want to protect them from both the expected frost and the easy pickings for birds in the cold weather.

Any suggestions on the best material/s to use?

Roll of horticultural fleece would do the job , lets light through and will keep em cosy and foil the pesky birds:) dont forget to peg it down tho
