Still hate typing that godawful band name, but they're new album is streaming over on their website: http://www.thepainsofbeingpureatheart.com/

Quite like it. Seems even cheerier and livelier than their last album, which I hadn't imagined possible. Light and poppy, but the title track definitely put a bit of a smile on my face after reading all the awful news from yesterday.

I quite liked their first album. It's a bit like Best Coast, not very substantial or groundbreaking, but fúcking nice to just throw on and enjoy sometimes! It really is a horrible, horrible name though. I bet people refuse to listen based solely because of it. I hesitated at first tbh!

The lowest denomination indie schmindie crap I've heard in years.
