Whenever I put my videos into full screen the screen is just black.

Also when trying to play videos on youtube often it comes up that the adobre flash player has crashed, even though I can still always play youtube videos on facebook.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the adobe flash player but alas to no avail.

    So anyone have any ideas?

What are you using to play the videos? It could be player related?

You should state you OS too.

    Try THIS

Sorry, it's browser related no problems when using chrome (firefox is my first preference). Have tried reinstalling/updating firefox but no luck, guess I'll just have to wait for an update.

    Cheers for your help anyways.

There have been a few threads on this lately.

The following steps will allow you to disable hardware-accelerated playback:
Right-click in the middle of the video below (or on the on the video you're having issues with)
    Click Settings
    Click the left-most tab
Uncheck the 'Enable hardware acceleration' checkbox to disable hardware acceleration.
    Refresh the page
